Puglia Olive Oil 0.5L
This is an extra virgin olive oil made by blending three different varieties of olive: Ogliarola, Olivastra and Coratina, grown by Pierro Intini and his family in their olive groves in the famous Trulli area of Alberobello. The olives are harvested in November and this results in a fragrant and strong flavour, the perfect compromise between refinement, good value and practicality. Medium-to-intense fruitiness which is reminiscent of freshly-cut grass. With aromas of chicory and almonds. A strong but well balanced olive oil, with bitter and spicy components. It happily accompanies full-bodied dishes such as red meats and barbecued fish, soups using pulses or grilled vegetables.
