Pecorino Sardo 

Origin: Italy 


Pecorino Sardo is a traditional hard sheep's cheese from the rugged Dorgali region of Sardinia. We source large 15kg to 20kg wheels, which we then cut into potions of aproximately 200g at our warehouse in West Cork. This Pecorino is prepared using traditional techniques and rennet, creating a wonderfully strong flavour. It can hold it's own as a table cheese or in recipes, and can be used as a substitue for Parmesan. 

Serve as a table cheese or grate over pastas, meat dishes, soups and salads.
